College friends are completely different from your home town friends. You learn everything about each other, you get sick of each other, but you miss each other like crazy when you have not seen each other in a week. I love my friends at college, I do not know how I would survive without them. I met them freshman year, and we have grown up together for these past three years, and its strange that we are actually going to be seniors next year. Soon we will be graduated and have our own careers. This is why I treasure the moments when I am able to hang out with my friends at school. My major is very restrictive, so while everyone is out partying on the weekend or even just hanging out, I cannot attend because I have to study. This can be really hard. Therefore, when I get the chance to see their faces, I take it. Tonight was one of those nights. We had a 21st birthday to celebrate, we had a going away party, and we had a Christmas party all in one night. One of my best friends here turned 21 and I was so happy I got the chance to spend the evening with her and all my great friends. Another one of my best friends is going to be studying abroad in Spain next semester, and I am going to miss her like crazy; but at the same time I know she is going to have the time of her life. Tonight was one for the books because we had so much fun and so many laughs. That is what I live to see, all my friends together laughing our asses off at something dumb someone else said. I am so grateful to have great friends at school. They are my family here. So, I would just like to take this moment to say thank you for being my friends and for being there for me and always making me laugh. I know I am not one to show my emotions, but I freaking love you guys (hopefully this is not a one way thing).
Anyway, do not want to make this too sappy and mushy because I am not like that. Just remember to take in moments with the people you care about.
